Privacy policy

EstateVitrine is an online platform that lets real estate agents publish their listings in several languages. This privacy policy explains which personal data we process, why, and what rights you have.
1. Who we are
EstateVitrine is a trade name of the business registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 63456842, located at Meppelerstraatweg 18, 8022 AH Zwolle, the Netherlands. Questions about privacy can be sent to info@estatevitrine.com.
2. Two roles: controller and processor
- For agents with an account we are the data controller. This concerns the data needed for your account and subscription.
- For visitors to agents' websites (for example when you ask a question about a property or request a viewing) the agent is the data controller. We only process that data on the agent's behalf, under the data processing agreement. If you would like to see or delete your data, please contact the agent; we help the agent with this.

Payment details such as your account or card number never reach us; Mollie processes those.
4. Who processes data for us

For parties outside the European Economic Area we rely on the appropriate safeguards of the GDPR, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
5. Cookies
We only use cookies that are needed for the platform to work: a session cookie to keep you logged in and a security cookie that protects forms against misuse. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies and we do not show ads.
6. How long we keep data
- Account data: as long as your account exists. After cancellation and a request for deletion we delete your account and the related data within 30 days.
- Data needed for the accounts (such as payments): 7 years, because of the statutory retention obligation.
- Server logs: deleted automatically at regular intervals.
- Data of visitors to agents' websites: for as long as the agent decides; see the data processing agreement.
7. Security
All connections use HTTPS. Passwords are only stored hashed. Each agency can only see its own data, and within an agency a user's role determines what they can see and do. Backups of the platform are made regularly.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict processing, to object, and to receive your data in a common format. Send your request to info@estatevitrine.com; we will respond within one month. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl) or the supervisory authority in your own country.
9. Changes
We may update this privacy policy, for example when we start using a new service. The date at the top shows when the text was last changed. We notify agents with an account of important changes by email in advance.
This is a translation. In case of differences, the Dutch version prevails.
